Our values We foster community Dementia.ED connects researchers across disciplines and beyond barriers, creating a cross-College community for dementia research at the University of Edinburgh. We are radically interdisciplinary Dementia.ED nurtures interdisciplinary networking and dialogue and supports the development of innovative collaborations and interdisciplinary grant proposals. It builds directly on the University of Edinburgh Research and Innovation Strategy 2030. We are a united front for dementia research at the University of Edinburgh Dementia.ED represents the breadth of dementia research at the University of Edinburgh as an inclusive and shared platform. It works to further strengthen the profile of dementia research at the University, amplify its impact, increase its competitiveness in attracting major funding, and facilitate its interface with the public, the third sector, and the government. We shape dementia research culture Dementia.ED advocates for a research culture which meaningfully embeds lived experiences of dementia and actively engages policymakers and the public.
